Who is responsible

Wardlanes is made and published by B A Engineering SRL, a company registered in Italy, which releases its games under the name VelvetPine Labs. Where the General Data Protection Regulation refers to a controller, that company is the controller — although in practice there is nothing to control, because the game gathers nothing.

What the game saves, and where

So that a campaign survives closing the app, Wardlanes writes a save file into its own private storage on your device. It holds game state only:

• Levels completed, stars earned and the highest wave reached on each map.
• Where you are in the current level, if you left mid-battle.
• Settings such as sound, music, battle speed and whether tower ranges are shown.

None of this identifies you. No name, email address, phone number, contact list, photo, location, advertising identifier or device identifier is involved at any point. The file never leaves the phone, and we never see it.

Nothing is sold, inside or out

There is no billing library in the build, so no revive can be bought, no gold topped up, no bundle offered when a wave goes badly, and no payment data of any kind exists. There is no advertising library either, so there is no advert to watch for a second chance and no advertising profile is built from how you play. Every level is beatable with the gold that level provides.

What else is deliberately absent

No analytics library and no crash reporter, so no usage events, session logs or crash traces are gathered or transmitted — we do not know which maps you finish or where you keep losing. No account system, no leaderboard and no sharing, so no name, email address or password is ever asked for and nothing you do is visible to anyone else.

Wardlanes also requests no Android runtime permissions at all: not camera, microphone, location, contacts, storage or notifications.

Network use

None. Every map, every tower and every wave table is compiled into the download, so the game opens no connection to our servers or to anyone else's and behaves identically in aeroplane mode. Because nothing is sent, nothing can be intercepted; because nothing is received, no difficulty change or event can be switched on remotely after you install it.

The one company involved anyway

Google, because Wardlanes is distributed through Google Play. When you install or update the game, Google processes that under its own privacy policy and its own agreement with you. What reaches us is the aggregated, anonymous figures shown in the developer console — install counts, ratings, country totals — which cannot be traced back to an individual player.

If a future version of Wardlanes ever includes anything that touches the network, this page will be rewritten before that version is published, and the change will be described plainly rather than added quietly.

Younger players

Wardlanes is a strategy game with stylised, bloodless combat, suitable for a general audience. Because it collects no personal data from anyone, it collects none from children either, and there is nothing in it — no adverts, no chat, no sharing, no outbound links, nothing to buy — through which a child could send information anywhere or spend money.

If you are a parent or guardian and something appears to behave differently from what is described here, please write to us and we will look into it straight away.

Your rights, and clearing your campaign

Under the General Data Protection Regulation and Italy's Personal Data Protection Code, you have the right to know whether your personal data is processed, to obtain a copy, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority. Those rights need data to act on, and we hold none, so there is nothing for us to send, correct or delete on your behalf. If you would like that confirmed in writing for your own records, ask and we will send it.

The save file is yours alone to remove. Reset progress inside the game, clear the app's data in Android settings, or uninstall Wardlanes — the file goes with it. None of that needs our involvement, and no copy is left behind, because no copy was ever made.

Complaints may be addressed to the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, garanteprivacy.it) or to the supervisory authority where you live, though we would rather you wrote to us first so we can explain or fix whatever prompted it.

Changes, and how to reach us

This page is updated only when the game changes in a way that affects privacy, and the date near the top changes with it. Builds you have already installed keep behaving exactly as they do today.
